On Wednesday all TAG math students will take a TLI test. This is a test to see what we've learned, what we might have to relearn, and where we're headed. Please make every effort to be in class, on time, with a good breakfast and be sure you have had a good night's sleep!!

Students, remember that all portions of your Civil War project are due on Tuesday, October 5th.  This includes your two-page research paper (check your scoring guide) as well as the additional aspect that you and I discussed and agreed upon in class.

Check out the UPDATED HW policy, and please read (with your parents) both the HW policy and the Problem of the Day description!) Send me a message from my page once you have read it, so I know that everyone has gotten the message!

Explorers... don't forget interim reports go home on Thursday. Mr. Appleton will give you 2, for SS and LA, Mrs. Runyon will give you 3-- 1- for science, 1- for TAG 1, and 1- for MATH, since you don't have MATH on thursday. Remember ALL 5 reports need to be returned to MRS. LEITERMAN on FRIDAY 9/24, with a parent signature on ALL 5!!! This is your homework for MATH and it's worth 10 bonus points for bringing them ALL back with ALL signed!!

Tuesday Sept 7 at 6:30 in the media center. Come see what we are doing!

We are taking a 2 day field trip to Toltec Mounds Sept. 14-15. Field trip permission slips and money are due by Thursday Sept 9. Your child should have brought home the permission slip and information already.

Due to the long bus rides that many of our TAG students experience, Mr. Owoh has made an exception to the cell phone policy of the school.  6th grade TAG students may bring their phones to school as long as they are turned in to a 6th grade TAG teacher by the beginning of 1st period.  Phones may then be picked up after the last bell of the school day. Failure of the student to turn their phone in at the beginning of the day makes them subject to disciplinary action as outlined in the student handbook.   Please email Mr. Appleton if you have any further questions.

Welcome!
